Living in the ski resorts

In winter, skiers have come to the right place. From our farm in Geiselsberg / Olang you have to walk only for 300 m to reach the cable car that will bring you on top of the Kronplatz. The favourite skiing area in South Tyrol. On weekends, many local inhabitants visit their local mountain to enjoy beautiful skiing days, in fact they live right where the ski fun is. Our farm offers a comfortable holiday cottage on two floors and three apartments, perfect for families and groups up to 8 persons. Your winter holidays on the Kronplatz can be more active, just totally dedicated to relaxation or you can even help at our farm and make occasional trips and hikes. Here winter has its ow peculiar charm, only in Puster Valley you can make a unique winter experience like that.

Over 100 km of slopes

There is a reason why the 2,275 meter high Kronplatz is one of the most popular ski resorts in South Tyrol: more than 100 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes and a total of 31 lifts make the mountain in front of our door so attractive that you will regret not to have slipped down its slopes up to 6.5 km long. No matter on which level you ski, you will always find the door of the Kronplatz open: beginners as well as daring and professionals will find their cup of tea.

Into the snow

Steep slopes are not all what the Puster Valley has to offer in the winter. Cross-country skiers will find fantastic trails in our neighbouring Antholz Valley. There is an extensive network of trails that will take you on many routes through the beauty of our winter landscape. Of course during your winter holidays on the Kronplatz you can also put snowshoes on and enjoy beautiful hikes across the snowy meadows. In fact, the whole valley is yours.

Always something new

Before taking a day off from the slopes and visit the Christmas Market in Bruneck, Brixen and Bozen, you should first try the other winter activities offered by Puster Valley. Here in Olang for example you can sledding and ice skating, or galloping on the snow on the beautiful Haflinger horses. Then there is always enough time to chill in one of the many mountain huts in Puster Valley with a cup of delicious mulled wine in your hand. Nothing better than this if you are searching for romantic moments, which should be exactly your case. For new records there is always the next day!
